This is from Matina Amanita's jewellery designed for her sister's amazing clothing line Sretsis, for their Parallel Universe range. I love Sretsis clothing and i absolutely adore Matina's jewellery, words cannot explain. she is for me the queen of cocktail rings! her style sometimes echoes a mixture of disney couture and victoire de castellane- hopefully that's not offensive to any party! i dont want to overload you with the sheer brilliance and beauty of her jewellery......all in good time. the detailing is much much more breathtaking up close, the photos do not do them justice! enjoy these for now. the rainbow deer ring is my favourite!

i am a HUGE fan of exposed zips, they make something plain so much more interesting, modern and a little bit rock and roll? anyway i have been searching for a pair of pants just like those black alexander wang ones above, they are way out of my price range but i figure it's only a matter of time before some shamelessly good copycats are out. isn't imitation the best form of flattery?? haha. the top pic is from knightcat's amazing and wonderful blog. check it out from the link on the left. she often blogs about things just before or after i do it's freaky!! though i dont know her at all i feel like we have very similar tastes in some things. love it when that happens! anyway her pictures is from thestreethearts and though i'm not sure if the pants are alexander wang or not, they are very similar and that girl is completely rocking the grey!

so many shoe posts all of a sudden! crazy! but i have been in love with these vintage docs for AGES but can't seem to find them anywhere? does anyone know where to get some?.... in a size 6??? i saw them featured in Australian Vogue probably sometime last year worn by the NZ model Zippora Seven. and she totally rocked them. i love her style! these are from thecherryblossomgirl.com, a lovely blog.

adore those vivienne westwood for melissa shoes! the colours!!! the sky blues are perfect for cheeky arty styling but the peach is so elegant! these have been around for awhile now- but they are still cool! they look like they'd be pretty comfy too seeing as they are made out of soft rubber. i had a rainbow collection of jelly shoes when i was young. guess some things never change.......they just become more expensive.

who hasn't blogged/heard about the wonderboy tom binns? michelle obama is a huge fan and one stylish first lady! i think she's worn 'candy' before as well as some others. envious much?? tom's jewellery is just exquisite i would LOVE to see what they looked like up close, to touch them.....i can imagine them to be dazzling fire, gorgeous textures, colours and detailing. it's definitely pirate's treasure. it's great that they are flamoboyant but not.....precious? covetable but hardly grandma's conservative heirlooms. while these necklaces i've posted are hardcore, binns also has more classic minimalist looks with a twist which i'm sure to post in time. he's always got his finger on the fashion pulse and his tongue firmly in his cheek with his newest 'recession chic' line Get Real made from laminated paper jewels!! really great, more on that later. in the mean time enjoy the eye candy and drool..........

the beautiful cat mcneil. i love photographic interpretations of paintings, though i dont know if this is an exact 'replica' of a particular work i think it is done particularly well with the striking slash of red, textures and composition. art reinterpreted.

Lumen lamps by AdamFrank, an american artist and designer. each of the lamps are acid etched from stainless steel and are lit by an oil lamp fuel cell projecting beautiful flickering images onto the wall. the above images are available at the moment for $48USD each. i would love one! now all i have to do is clear some wall space.......
