i know i've talked about these shoes before, but right now it is reaching the point of obsession!! i feel like if i were reincarnated as a shoe these are exactly what i'd be!! i've been stalking a few of these on ebay, but they are ridiculously pricey and sizing is rather limited so far. but i won't give up until i find a pair to be mine!! don't they just remind you so much of flemish still life paintings?? i love the darkness and colour together. please do click on the jan davidsz de heem and have a closer look, because the detail will blow you away. it's one of my all time favourite flemish still lifes, i have no idea how they can get it to look so realistic and vibrant. so beautiful. the shoes are almost as beautiful.........
