it's no wonder these scarves are a huge hit every season. soft, floaty, fun, edgy, detailed, colourful they're a great way to dip your toes into the designer pool without drowning in debt and guilt....
just a few samples of tom binn's ' get real' recession jewellery collection. he has a sense of humour that one!! these pieces are made from laminated cardboard and are available from Colette france, though i hate to know how much for. tempted to DIY?? i saw something similar but in black and white at the national gallery of victoria giftshop. the ' jewels' were held together by those split-pins so you can shape it how you like!! for around $60 i think?? pretty nifty!
i know she's only 15 and this look is part pretty woman (pre-richard gere) and part courtney love, but i gotta say i kinda like little j's style. always on the look out for perfect lingerie slip dresses, scarlet is just a bonus ;) On AND off gossip girl duty i think she's pretty cool. minus the mullet thing she's got going, it definitely looks like she knows how to have fun. good for her! just hopefully she won't be the next lindsay. here she is performing with her band The Pretty Reckless.
while many people visit the wonderful Sea of Shoes blog to check out the lust-worthy shoes i love the way Jane wears her unusual pieces of jewellery! here's a selection of Tom Binns, Pamela Love, Alex & Chloe, Antonio Palladino, vintage and self-customized. they always add a special touch to her outfits. enjoy! and be sure to check out her blog!!
at the CDFA awards, an unusual but great colour on her with intricate eastern inspired detailing for interest. the top bit may be a bit blousey- but total kudos for pulling off a long silhouette on a petite figure!
jess hart is absolutely lovely, and she looks like a sweetheart. maybe i'm biased towards Australian models but i really do think they have something pretty special. she has amazing street style and she's appeared in Vogue Australia a number of times. she's shot for sports illustrated and although i thought she had a pretty commercial vibe at the start she has definitely become more diverse. there was a great Vogue ed with her with short blonde pixie hair recently that i would love to post once i find the pics, her gappy teeth make her really unique, happy and gorgeous looking. she's going to take off. watch this space.
stumbled across these pictures when i was looking at pictures of Rie Rasmussen, looks like she starred in a movie awhile back....and it looks really interesting!!! think i'll rent it out next time i'm at the video store....apparently it's all in french though with no subtitles!!! regardless, the film stills look beautiful and there are more where they came from.....on thefashionspot!
French designer Natalia Brilli, her pieces are so smooth and solid looking, the colours are absolutely vibrant. she uses the softest of leather and everything is chic, minimalist and organic. reminds me of expensive interior designs. complete luxury.
