i've watched the evolution of camilla and marc for a few years now and they have truly gone from strength to strength anchoring themselves in an often very feminine aesthetic with a hard edge. turning more punky with sharper, cleaner lines and snug tailoring but never letting go of that whimsical feel that i've loved in their clothes. my absolute favourites are the last two dresses, i'm always a sucker for a great LBD with unexpected cuts and detailing. though i'm completely loving the muted silky satin pieces from their most recent collections. camilla and marc aren't exactly cheap but they're definitely not exorbitantly expensive either and i have a feeling their pieces will be future classics that will be worn with love time and time again. there's nothing better than clothes that make you feel completely beautiful.
a bold collection of pretty much solely stunning body-con cocktail dresses. here are my favourites, the second last picture is the ultimate LBD. one thing's for sure, Max Azria is intent on bringing sexy back.
i love love LOVE the label Ellery. they're a great australian label and have finally found a place very close to me that stocks it!!! the only horrible part is the price. the rock and roll lace sequin spangled vibe feels almost like kym ellery is reading my mind. there's definitely a touch of balmain to it. hopefully the scans can be enlarged, particularly the Vogue interview article, how gorgeous is she?! i love it when designer's rock their own clothing. one of my favourite dresses is that top black one with the chain back. classic but unique. her low cut sexy backs and exposed zips are the best bits.
