the 21 picture extravaganza from Vogue Australia's 50th anniversary issue. exquisite clothes, models, photos and settings - one of my favourite editorials and dare i say one of the best australian editorials this year?? the colours and mood remind me of the sleepy, cicada humming heat of australian summer days, even though the ed was shot in New York (by the wonderful Greg Kadel). my favourite is the one of cat and abbey them perched on the rocks looking like shipwrecking sirens, worthy of Waterhouse - but much more intense. the photos are even better in high quality and i'm definitely glad i have this issue of Vogue to keep and look back.
