i think i've found my artistic soulmate. if i were an artist this is exactly the kind of art i'd want to be consumed in. as a hobby i've always loved making installments, things that move, suspend, catch light. i've made many mobiles and modern chandeliers over the years and i only recently stumbled onto the work of Claire Morgan to be reminded of a mix Polly Morgan's taxidermy work and something much more ethereal. her installations are breathtaking in their intricacies, vision and technicality. i'll be posting much more on her later, this is just a taster since i'm in the midst of horribly cramming my brain for end of year exams. ouch.
